The house
A 1930s house of the Océan quarter.
Among the first houses built in the district, renovated around its original structure and opened to guests in July 2015.
The patio & the grand salon
Around an authentic patio, a large reception room where it is good to take breakfast. Tall lime-white walls, carved red cedar doors, horseshoe arches over zellige, and at the top a skylight above the void.

The red doors
Original cedar doors, lacquered red, with bilingual name plaques in Latin letters and Arabic — like Al Mansour’s and R’Batia’s.

The riad’s RM monogram, etched into the bathroom mirrors of Bouregreg.

Handcrafted tilework — cobalt, green, multicoloured — above black-and-white checkerboard floors.

The galleries
Wrought-iron balustrades on the upper floors, looking down into the patio.
The terrace
Come up for the sun and the Atlantic air. The roof terrace looks out over the rooftops of Rabat: loungers, an outdoor lounge, red parasols and a whole population of succulents.
